I'm a Computer Science graduate at UNC Charlotte with an Information Technology focus and a Statistics minor, and an incoming M.S. student in Software Systems Design & Engineering. I write code for systems that have to actually run in production — not just demo well.
My work sits at the intersection of software engineering and operations: REST APIs that authenticate properly, cloud infrastructure that doesn't fall over, identity systems that respect the principle of least privilege. Lately I've been deep in Node.js, Express, and Prisma — building out a book-club API with role-based access control and JWT auth.
Graded virtual labs, simulations, and quizzes for a Security+–aligned course. Supported 80+ students through network & endpoint security, threat mitigation, authentication, access control, and cloud security fundamentals while maintaining academic integrity.
Built and managed 10+ virtual machines on Microsoft Azure and VMware supporting county-wide IT operations. Maintained server storage, backup systems, and print services with 99% uptime — cut service ticket resolution time by 15% through performance tuning.
